The National Centre of Meteorology has provided its meteorological forecast for Monday, anticipating predominantly fair to partly cloudy conditions across the Emirates. The day is expected to maintain pleasant weather patterns, though the afternoon hours are forecast to bring the development of convective clouds over the eastern and southern regions, with accompanying rainfall expected in these areas.
Night time conditions on Monday and the morning hours of Tuesday will see humidity levels increase noticeably in certain coastal localities, with the potential for fog or mist formation. This atmospheric condition is typical for the season and may affect visibility in affected areas.
Wind conditions are anticipated to remain light to moderate throughout the period, though gusts are expected to strengthen at times, particularly in association with cloud formations. Winds will predominantly blow from the southeast to northwest, maintaining velocities between 10 and 25 kilometres per hour, with occasional gusts reaching 45 kilometres per hour. These conditions may generate some blowing dust in affected areas.
Marine conditions in the Arabian Gulf are forecast to remain slight, with the first high tide occurring at 16:44 and the second low tide at 02:01. Within the Sea of Oman, wave conditions will similarly remain slight, with the first high tide at 14:18 and the second high tide at 05:42, whilst the first low tide is expected at 10:15 and the second at 21:43.
