Al Ameen Forum 2026 Convenes to Explore Family's Essential Role in Community Security

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the prestigious gathering unites leaders and experts to advance the UAE's vision of family as society's cornerstone.

The Al Ameen Forum will convene on 22 October at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, bringing together an exceptional assembly of decision-makers, security leaders, educators, researchers and young people under the unifying theme of ‘The Family: The First Line of Defence in Community Security’.

Held under the distinguished patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the Forum represents a significant moment in advancing the leadership’s vision of empowering families as the fundamental bedrock of society. The gathering reflects a sophisticated understanding that families serve not merely as social units, but as essential partners in safeguarding community security and stability.

The Forum’s timing coincides meaningfully with the UAE’s Year of Family initiative, positioning the event as a platform for strengthening familial bonds, upholding shared values and national identity, and equipping young people to navigate future challenges with resilience and purpose.

A distinguished roster of speakers will share their expertise, including Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Hessa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai; Aisha Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority; and Fahad Al Muhairi, Director of the Alternative Service and Volunteering Management Centre at the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority. Representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the National Anti-Narcotics Agency and Dubai Police will contribute their perspectives to the proceedings.

The Forum will unfold across six carefully curated sessions, each addressing vital dimensions of family welfare and societal resilience. These sessions will explore future family security frameworks, the intersection of education and values formation, youth drug prevention strategies, national service opportunities, family preparedness for crises, and the cultivation of intellectual resilience within the digital landscape.

Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, leading Dubai’s State Security Department, has championed this initiative as part of a broader commitment to strengthening preventive security through enhanced family and community awareness. The Al Ameen Service, under the guidance of Lieutenant General Awadh Hadher Jumaa Al Muhairi, Vice President of Dubai’s State Security Department, and directed by Major General Tamim Mohammed Al Muhairi, Director General of Dubai’s State Security Department, continues to exemplify the positive impact of deepening community partnerships.

The Forum aspires to develop practical recommendations that will cultivate aware, resilient generations capable of promoting social stability and contributing meaningfully to society’s continued advancement.
