Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit Convenes Global Leaders in Predictive Medicine

An inaugural gathering of world renowned healthcare pioneers, technology innovators and investment leaders descends upon the capital to advance the frontier of anticipatory health systems
The Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit, a momentous convergence of international expertise and visionary thinking, opens its doors at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 20 to 22 October. Orchestrated around the compelling theme ‘To Sense is to Predict’, this extraordinary three-day forum brings together an exceptional assembly of global luminaries spanning healthcare, scientific research, technological innovation, governmental affairs and investment to explore the profound possibilities of health systems capable of predicting risk and intervening with precision before illness advances.
The Summit’s intellectual framework centres upon how transformative advances in artificial intelligence, genomics, diagnostics and health data analytics are reshaping the landscape of contemporary medicine, creating unprecedented opportunities for care that is distinctly predictive, preventive and personalised to individual circumstances.
The distinguished roster of speakers encompasses Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health Abu Dhabi; Sir Pascal Soriot, Chief Executive Officer of AstraZeneca; Tim Schmid, Executive Vice President and Worldwide Chairman of Johnson & Johnson MedTech; Will Ahmed, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WHOOP; Max Jaderberg, President of Isomorphic Labs; Dr Ola Brown, Founding Partner of HealthCap Africa; and Dr Jayasree Iyer, Chief Executive Officer of Access to Medicine Foundation. These luminaries will be accompanied by international government ministers, government leaders, distinguished researchers, practising clinicians, ambitious entrepreneurs and strategic investors from across the globe.
The opening day establishes the Summit’s intellectual direction through sessions including ‘Shaping the Future of Health: Moving Toward Anticipatory Health’, with further explorations into the future of rare diseases and genomics, and the infrastructure underpinning prediction. Max Jaderberg will deliver a keynote address examining artificial intelligence in drug discovery, whilst ‘Sensing Technology: What is Now Possible?’ will illuminate the emerging generation of sensing technologies advancing predictive healthcare.
The second day’s programme addresses when predictive signals should catalyse clinical action, how scientific advancement is fundamentally reshaping treatment methodologies, and how population-level intelligence can support individualised care. Sessions include ‘How Early Is Early Enough in Predictive Health?’, ‘The Future of Therapeutics’ and ‘Connecting the Dots: From Population Sensing to Individual Care’.
The concluding day examines the technologies, investment approaches and healthcare professions shaping prediction’s next evolution, featuring keynotes on artificial intelligence in clinical practice and surgical intelligence, alongside investment perspectives on prediction-driven healthcare. Dr Noura Al Ghaithi will contribute to discussions on women’s lifelong disease risk.
Complementing the formal sessions, a comprehensive Global Exhibition showcases innovations across healthcare, technology and life sciences, whilst focused Side Events facilitate deeper collaboration and discussion amongst delegates.
