UAE University Celebrates 46th Cohort at Golden Jubilee Graduation Ceremony

Under the distinguished patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the United Arab Emirates University will mark a momentous milestone as its 46th cohort of graduates crosses the threshold into their professional futures, with 2,588 bachelor's degree holders commencing their contributions to the nation's advancement.
The United Arab Emirates University will organise its 46th graduation ceremony on 21 and 22 October 2026 at the university’s campus in the Al Ain Region, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
This significant occasion celebrates 2,588 bachelor’s degree graduates from across the university’s diverse academic programmes and disciplines. Among these accomplished scholars, 630 graduates will receive their degrees with distinction, a testament to their exceptional scholarly endeavour and intellectual rigour.
An Enduring Vision of Educational Excellence
The graduation ceremony carries the evocative theme of An Enduring Vision, which speaks to the profound continuity of educational purpose that has characterised the institution since its establishment in 1976. This vision finds its genesis in the foundational principles articulated by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Founding Father, who recognised education as the essential instrument through which nations cultivate their most valuable resource: their people.
The ceremony coincides with the United Arab Emirates University’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, marking fifty years of steadfast commitment to developing qualified national talent, fostering innovation and maintaining alignment with the evolving demands of an increasingly sophisticated global landscape. This milestone underscores the university’s pivotal role in supporting the UAE’s continued development and serving its community with distinction and purpose.
Honouring Achievement and Family Support
The graduation ceremony will welcome a distinguished assembly of attendees, including members of Their Excellencies, UAEU academic and administrative personnel, graduates, and the families whose unwavering support has enabled these students to realise their educational aspirations. This celebration of achievement extends gracious recognition to both the families whose encouragement has sustained these graduates throughout their university journey and the faculty members whose instruction and mentorship have shaped their intellectual development.
