ADNOC Unveils Industrial Manufacturing Opportunities at Second Make it with ADNOC Forum

The National Oil Company sets to announce fresh prospects for local manufacturing across its expansive project pipeline, reinforcing the UAE's commitment to industrial advancement and the Make it in the Emirates initiative.

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is poised to reveal a compelling array of manufacturing opportunities at the forthcoming second edition of the Make it with ADNOC Forum, an event designed to galvanise the nation’s industrial sector and fortify domestic supply chains. Taking place on 25 October at Emirates Palace, ahead of the ADIPEC conference, this significant convening will draw together industry leaders, investors and strategic partners from across the United Arab Emirates and the international arena.

Building upon the remarkable success of the inaugural Forum in May 2026, where ADNOC announced AED200 billion in planned project awards spanning 2026 to 2028, this second edition promises to unlock further opportunities for domestic manufacturers to engage with the company’s substantial project pipeline. The Forum will showcase new manufacturing prospects across ADNOC’s value chain, enabling companies to capitalise on these developments and reinforce the resilience of local industrial capabilities.

A cornerstone of the event will be the presentation of progress achieved through Local+, an initiative launched under ADNOC’s Industrial Resilience Programme at the inaugural Forum. This framework requires the company’s engineering, procurement and construction contractors to source designated products from approved Emirati manufacturers when such options prove commercially competitive and satisfy the organisation’s rigorous technical and qualification standards.

The Local+ initiative represents an evolution of ADNOC’s In-Country Value programme, which has channelled more than AED307 billion into the UAE economy since its establishment in 2018. The company has set an ambitious objective to source AED90 billion worth of locally manufactured products from its procurement pipeline by 2030, with offtake agreements already secured for AED80 billion worth of domestically produced goods. These agreements have provided vital support to more than 96 manufacturers, with over 60 per cent exporting their products to international markets.

The commitment to local manufacturing has catalysed substantial investment from ADNOC’s partners, who have deployed AED4.5 billion into new factories and sophisticated manufacturing facilities throughout the Emirates, strengthening the nation’s industrial foundation and positioning it as a competitive hub for advanced production capabilities.
