Crown Prince of Sharjah Visits Little Police Officer Early Childhood Centre
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi inspects the Sharjah Police Headquarters' dedicated facility for early childhood education and care.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, has visited the Little Police Officer Early Childhood Centre, situated within the Sharjah Police Headquarters, to observe the comprehensive facilities and programmes that serve the emirate’s youngest learners.
The Crown Prince received detailed briefings on the centre’s operational framework, including its administrative structure and the qualifications of its educational and technical staff. He was presented with an extensive overview of the carefully curated care and educational programmes, which have been meticulously designed to the highest educational standards, ensuring that children receive exceptional childcare whilst progressing through their developmental stages with appropriate support and guidance.
During his tour of the centre, His Highness engaged warmly with the children present, who demonstrated their enthusiasm for the diverse educational and recreational activities available to them within a thoughtfully designed, secure and nurturing learning environment.
The centre comprises two distinct sections tailored to different age groups. Fully equipped kindergarten classrooms accommodate up to twenty children, whilst the nursery facilities serve infants and toddlers between three months and four years of age, with a capacity of eighty children. These spaces have been thoughtfully designed to support the specific developmental requirements and learning needs of each age group.
The facility is outfitted with modern educational resources and advanced teaching materials that facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences. Interactive and recreational activities encourage children to explore their surroundings with confidence and curiosity, fostering active participation and intellectual development. These carefully considered programmes serve to establish a robust foundation for children’s educational journey ahead, instilling positive attitudes towards learning and discovery from their earliest years.
