Creators HQ and Spotify Launch Inaugural Podcasting Bootcamp to Nurture Regional Talent

A transformative four-day intensive programme equips aspiring content creators across the UAE and Middle East with the professional skills, industry knowledge and practical expertise required to establish thriving podcast ventures.
Creators HQ, the region’s pioneering hub for content creators operating beneath the auspices of Visioneers, the UAE’s most comprehensive content management and development platform, has concluded an inaugural intensive bootcamp in collaboration with Spotify, the globally preeminent streaming platform encompassing millions of musical compositions and podcast episodes.
The Spotify School of Podcasting represented a comprehensive educational initiative designed to empower talented storytellers and aspiring content creators with the knowledge, methodologies and technological apparatus requisite for launching, cultivating and monetising meaningful podcast ventures. Participants engaged in interactive workshops facilitated by industry luminaries, seasoned specialists and executive practitioners, whilst undertaking hands-on production experiences that transformed conceptual aspirations into professional audio content.
The bootcamp’s curriculum unfolded across four meticulously structured days. The inaugural day centred upon foundational podcasting principles and the development of compelling podcast concepts. The second day proved dedicated to the craft of creating exceptional podcast content, whilst the third day introduced participants to professional production techniques, Spotify’s comprehensive creator tools and strategies for cultivating engaged audiences from the initial episode. The concluding day addressed monetisation pathways and the evolving landscape of podcasting innovation.
Alia Al Hammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and Deputy Chief Executive of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, underscored the bootcamp’s significance as a milestone in nurturing regional creative talent. She emphasised that the initiative represents a commitment to equipping content creators with the theoretical knowledge, practical application and expert engagement necessary to transform creative concepts into scalable, professionally executed projects.
Mshari Alonaizy, Podcast Manager at Spotify for MENAT+, highlighted that podcasting within the Emirates has transcended its nascent stages, with expanding audiences and an increasing number of creators recognising the compelling opportunity to craft distinctly personal narratives. He observed that Dubai’s emergence as the region’s creative economy hub reflects a thriving ecosystem wherein locally rooted voices can refine their craft and extend their reach across the Middle East, North Africa and beyond.
The programme extends particular recognition to selected participants, offering them presentation opportunities for their podcast concepts, comprehensive mentoring guidance, access to professional recording facilities at Creators HQ studios, promotional support for curated episodes, and the prospect of securing Creators HQ membership alongside formal certification endorsed jointly by Creators HQ and Spotify.
