AEEDC Dubai Recognised as Guest of Honour at African Dental Congress

Dubai's International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition participates in the prestigious 24th International and African Congress of AMPBD in Marrakech, strengthening ties between the UAE, Morocco and the African continent.
The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) has been selected as Guest of Honour at the 24th International and African Congress of the Moroccan Association of Oral Prevention (AMPBD), taking place in Marrakech from 22 to 25 October 2026. The congress convenes under the theme Modern Dentistry in the Service of the Patient, bringing together dental experts, researchers, academics and practitioners from across the globe.
This recognition underscores Dubai’s expanding influence as a nexus for international dialogue within the dental profession. The selection reflects a deliberate emphasis on deepening cooperation between the UAE and Morocco, whilst creating pathways for engagement with African markets through the exchange of knowledge, professional expertise and technological innovation.
The congress programme encompasses 21 lectures and 16 hands-on workshops, alongside presentations of more than 280 scientific papers. Participants will explore advances spanning digital dentistry, artificial intelligence, implantology, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, and restorative and cosmetic dentistry. This multidisciplinary approach creates a specialised platform where dental professionals can develop partnerships and strengthen institutional relationships across continents.
His Excellency Amb. Prof. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of AEEDC Dubai and the Global Scientific Dental Alliance, reflected on the significance of this participation. He emphasised that the true value of international conferences extends beyond attendance figures, residing instead in their capacity to build interconnected ecosystems that generate sustained impact. AEEDC Dubai’s presence in Marrakech, he noted, strengthens Dubai’s role as a bridge between Arab, African and global markets, whilst fostering high-impact partnerships that advance the dental sector in pace with rapid technological development.
The 30th edition of AEEDC Dubai in 2026 attracted more than 80,000 visitors and participants representing 192 countries. The event accommodated 5,860 international brands represented by 4,316 exhibiting companies, with direct and indirect business dealings exceeding AED 22 billion. Over three decades, AEEDC Dubai has evolved from a specialised dental gathering into a global platform connecting manufacturers, suppliers, dental professionals, academic institutions and decision-makers worldwide.
Organised annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Org., a member of INDEX Holding, AEEDC Dubai receives official support from the Dubai Health Authority. This endorsement underscores the event’s standing on the international dental calendar and its contribution to positioning Dubai as a distinguished hub for specialised medical conferences and exhibitions.
