UAE National Pavilion concludes Al Alamein Airshow participation
The UAE National Pavilion has ended its second appearance at the Al Alamein International Airshow 2026 in New Al Alamein, Egypt, recording strong engagement for Abu Dhabi‑based companies and national institutions. The pavilion, the largest at the event, welcomed 3,805 visitors and delegation members across three days and hosted 136 meetings and engagements.
The pavilion was supported by the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, and organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company. Its organisers said the showing reinforced the UAE’s commitment to being present on leading international aviation, aerospace and defence platforms while promoting the country’s specialised exhibitions.
Senior officials, military leaders and international delegations visited the pavilion on 13 separate occasions, underlining sustained high‑level interest in the capabilities showcased by Emirati firms. The pavilion also acted as a promotional platform for the UAE’s major events, holding 34 meetings to promote IDEX and NAVDEX, 27 meetings focused on UMEX and SimTEX, and 20 meetings dedicated to ISNR.
Participating Abu Dhabi entities maintained an active business schedule. EDGE Group conducted 16 meetings, while Abu Dhabi Aviation held 25 meetings. Generation 5 hosted eight engagements and Multi Level Group (MLG) ran six, all seeking to strengthen international ties and explore commercial and technological cooperation.
The pavilion’s activity converted into concrete agreements during the airshow: two memoranda of understanding were signed by Abu Dhabi Aviation — one with Air Cairo on the opening day and another with Petroleum Air Services on the second day — reflecting growing commercial links in the aviation sector.
Visitor numbers grew over the course of the exhibition. The first day attracted 1,037 visitors and 59 meetings; the second day saw the highest turnout with 1,875 visitors and 36 meetings; and the final day registered 893 visitors and 41 meetings. The sustained flow of delegations and officials through the second day and into the close of the event demonstrated continued international interest in Emirati industrial and technological offerings.
Organisers said the pavilion achieved its aim of bringing Emirati companies together with international counterparts to generate partnership opportunities, support knowledge exchange and promote the UAE’s role as a trusted partner in advanced industries. The presence of ADNEC Group and Abu Dhabi companies helped underline the emirate’s active role in promoting its exhibitions and attracting overseas participants.
