UAE interior delegation attends Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in China

A Ministry of Interior delegation led by Inspector General Major General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi joined security officials from more than 180 countries in Lianyungang to review policing innovations and deepen international cooperation.
The Ministry of Interior sent a delegation, headed by Major General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, to the 2026 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in Lianyungang, China.
The forum convened over 2,000 participants representing more than 180 countries, including government officials, senior security leaders and international organisations. The Ministry’s attendance formed part of a continuing UAE effort to enhance international security collaboration, to exchange operational expertise, and to keep abreast of contemporary practices in public security and policing.
During the event, Major General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi and members of the delegation held meetings with international counterparts and inspected a series of exhibitions showcasing advances in security technology. Wang Xiaohong, China’s Minister of Public Security, formally welcomed the delegation, underscoring the significance of UAE participation.
The delegation visited the Public Security Technology Exhibition that ran alongside the forum, where officials reviewed technological innovations and applied systems designed to support law enforcement operations. They also toured the 2026 Silk Road Security Exhibition, examining the latest police equipment and solutions intended to strengthen public‑security capabilities and interoperability among agencies.
The Ministry described its presence at the forum as an opportunity to expand cooperation channels and to identify partnerships that can support the UAE’s policing and public‑security objectives. Engagements of this kind aim to facilitate knowledge sharing, create avenues for joint training and development, and familiarise UAE security planners with new tools and approaches being adopted internationally.
Participation in major international security gatherings reflects the UAE’s broader approach to addressing cross‑border and transnational challenges through coordinated action and technological exchange. The delegation’s review of exhibits and interaction with global peers sought to inform future procurement decisions, capacity building and strategic cooperation initiatives.
