M42 has announced plans to adopt Oracle Health Data Intelligence, integrating it with Oracle Health Foundation electronic health records to create a unified environment for clinical, genomic and real‑world data across its UAE network. The move is intended to strengthen care coordination, accelerate research and support more personalised treatment pathways.
The company said the platform will provide clinicians and researchers with faster access to actionable insights at the point of care, enabling predictive analytics and improved patient experiences. M42 described the initiative as part of a broader strategy to position the UAE as a global hub for healthcare innovation and AI‑enabled transformation.
Built on digital and AI governance principles, the integrated system is designed to manage healthcare data securely and responsibly while supporting regulatory compliance. The platform will centralise diverse data sources into a scalable environment to equip clinicians with comprehensive longitudinal patient records, giving a fuller view of patient histories to inform clinical decision‑making and seamless care coordination.
The adoption builds on a strategic collaboration between M42 and Oracle Health launched last year to establish unified longitudinal patient records across the UAE healthcare ecosystem. That earlier work included integrating data from the Emirati Genome Programme into the electronic health record system to make pharmacogenomic information available to clinicians, supporting more personalised, data‑driven treatment choices.
M42 plans an initial deployment of Oracle Health Data Intelligence within its diabetes programmes. The company says the platform will enable proactive patient engagement and care optimisation, with the aim of improving long‑term outcomes for people living with chronic conditions. From a population health perspective, the centralised dataset will allow advanced analytics and AI exploration across large cohorts, helping to identify disease patterns, correlations and risk factors more efficiently than traditional methods.
According to M42, the built‑in AI capabilities will support earlier detection of emerging health trends and new treatment opportunities.
