PureHealth to add 22 SEHA CLINICS and mobile units across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in 2026
PureHealth will expand the SEHA CLINICS network with 22 new and upgraded facilities and mobile units across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, reinforcing primary care, preventive screening and access to diagnostics.
Expansion strengthens neighbourhood primary care
PureHealth has unveiled plans to strengthen the SEHA CLINICS network across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain by introducing 22 new and upgraded clinics and mobile healthcare units during 2026. The roll‑out comprises six new physical primary healthcare clinics, three visa screening centres, six mobile units, service enhancements at five existing clinics and the reopening of two further centres.
The programme is presented as a measure to improve access to technology‑enabled preventive screening and early disease detection, and to reinforce primary care as the trusted first point of contact for individuals and families throughout life. PureHealth says the expansion aligns with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi’s regulatory vision to build an integrated system centred on prevention, continuity of care and better health outcomes.
Targeting growing and dispersed communities
The initiative responds to Abu Dhabi’s continued population growth and urban expansion by increasing local capacity, easing pressure on higher‑acuity facilities and improving coordination across specialties. Several of the new and upgraded facilities already opened this year in areas including Al Rowdha, Saadiyat Island and Liwa (Al Dhafra), with additional centres planned to begin operations before the end of 2026.
OneHealth, PureHealth’s end‑to‑end healthcare solutions arm, has delivered the mobile healthcare units intended to extend preventive and primary services beyond traditional clinic settings and bring care closer to neighbourhoods.
Clinical capacity and technology
The SEHA CLINICS network is supported by more than 900 doctors working across upwards of 20 specialties, such as paediatrics, cardiology and family medicine. Services are designed for continuity of care with extended opening hours across the network, 24‑hour coverage in select centres, and the integration of AI‑enabled, data‑driven diagnostics, including advanced radiology reporting and internationally recognised retinal screening programmes.
PureHealth frames the expansion as part of a broader effort to strengthen preventive, family‑doctor‑led medicine in Abu Dhabi and to tailor wellness plans to the emirate’s evolving needs, noting the work is aligned with the UAE’s Year of the Family 2026.
Recent performance and demand
SEHA CLINICS reported 4.1 million outpatient visits in 2025, a 14.5 per cent increase year‑on‑year, and completed 1.4 million visa screenings, up 12.5 per cent. The network serves more than 2.4 million lives and recorded 54 per cent growth in specialised visits following the recruitment of 100 additional physicians. Patient satisfaction remains high, with a Net Promoter Score of 70.
PureHealth and SEHA CLINICS say the expansion will reduce waiting times, improve patient flow and anchor preventive care more firmly within Abu Dhabi’s neighbourhoods as the emirate continues to grow.
