Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Inaugurates Al Ain Future Business Forum
The inaugural economic forum convenes global business leaders and investors to explore growth opportunities across advanced manufacturing, innovation and sustainable sectors in the region.
His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, has formally inaugurated the 1st Al Ain Future Business Forum, a significant gathering organised by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development under the theme “Invest, Develop, Thrive”. The two-day event took place at ADNEC Centre Al Ain on 23rd and 24th September 2026.
The forum brought together an impressive assembly of government officials, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and representatives from leading Emirati and international institutions and corporations. Throughout the proceedings, His Highness engaged with senior decision-makers and industry experts to discuss emerging investment opportunities and strategies aimed at furthering economic diversification across the Al Ain Region.
In his remarks, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed underscored the forum’s significance as a platform uniting the public and private sectors alongside entrepreneurs and innovators. He highlighted how such collaborative gatherings facilitate the exchange of expertise, enable exploration of partnership opportunities and foster high-impact collaborations designed to stimulate sustained economic expansion within the region.
His Highness emphasised the critical importance of leveraging Al Ain’s distinctive competitive advantages and substantial potential to attract premium investment and create fresh pathways for economic growth and diversification. These ambitions align with the strategic vision articulated by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to establish a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy.
Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, commended the leadership’s commitment to strengthening the emirate’s economic landscape. “The forum demonstrates our unwavering dedication to positioning Abu Dhabi as a premier destination for world-class talent, expanding enterprises and quality investments,” he stated. “By convening government entities, startups, small and medium enterprises, investment leaders and talent development institutions, we create meaningful platforms for partnerships that will drive future economic momentum.”
The inaugural forum attracted more than 4,800 policymakers, senior business executives, investors and entrepreneurs from across the globe. Over 70 internationally recognised speakers contributed expert perspectives on diverse sectors including advanced manufacturing, agricultural technology, smart mobility solutions, renewable energy and sustainable tourism.
