UAE Defence Minister Meets Libyan Armed Forces Deputy Commander

Abu Dhabi has welcomed a significant diplomatic engagement between the UAE’s defence leadership and the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, underscoring the two nations’ commitment to enhanced military cooperation.
Mohamed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, in a meeting that reflected the deepening defence ties between the Emirates and Libya.
The engagement was facilitated through the attendance of Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, whose participation underscored the significance of the discussions at the highest institutional level.
