UAE Public Prosecution Advocates Comprehensive Strategy Against Drug-Related Threats

Dr. Saeed Al Ahbabi, a prosecutor at the Federal Drug Prosecution, articulated this vision during a panel discussion convened by the National Anti-Narcotics Authority at the margins of the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, held in Abu Dhabi.
The Public Prosecution emphasised that effective policy development and prevention programming must be grounded in a thorough understanding of the factors driving drug demand. This analytical approach enables authorities to devise interventions that address root causes rather than symptoms alone.
