UAE Chambers Federation explores deepening economic ties with Mongolia
Senior officials from the Federation of UAE Chambers and Mongolia's diplomatic mission have discussed investment pathways and cooperation mechanisms to strengthen bilateral business relations.
The Federation of UAE Chambers and Mongolia’s diplomatic representation have held discussions centred on expanding economic cooperation and identifying investment opportunities that benefit both nations’ private sectors.
Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers, met with Anand Amgalan, Ambassador of Mongolia, to explore mechanisms for strengthening ties between Emirati and Mongolian business communities. The dialogue reflected mutual interest in developing substantive economic partnerships that serve the interests of entrepreneurs and investors in both countries.
During the meeting, Mr bin Salem highlighted the enthusiasm of Emirati business leaders to understand Mongolia’s investment landscape and the incentives available to foreign investors seeking opportunities in the country. He emphasised that the UAE Chambers actively encourages investors to consider Mongolia as a destination for capital deployment, whilst recognising the Mongolian private sector’s commitment to advancing the bilateral relationship in ways that generate mutual prosperity.
He underscored the strategic advantages of the United Arab Emirates as an investment hub, noting its geographical position as a crucial gateway to regional markets. Mr bin Salem advocated for intensified trade delegations and business visits between the two countries, proposing these as vehicles for identifying promising partnerships between Emirati and Mongolian enterprises. The discussion also touched upon the possibility of establishing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Federation and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Ambassador Anand Amgalan commended the Federation’s commitment to developing economic relations, reaffirming Mongolia’s ambition to strengthen bilateral ties across multiple sectors in a manner that generates shared benefit and prosperity for both friendly nations.
