UAE Condemns Houthi Attack on Saudi Power Infrastructure

The United Arab Emirates has issued a formal condemnation of a Houthi drone attack targeting the Taiba power distribution station in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, underscoring its steadfast commitment to regional stability and security.
Through a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE characterised the assault as a serious breach of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, emphasising the gravity of such actions against vital national infrastructure. The attack represents a tangible threat to the Kingdom’s security architecture and its continued development, the Ministry affirmed.
The UAE reiterated its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its comprehensive support for all measures undertaken to protect the Kingdom’s territorial integrity, security interests and institutional stability. This declaration reflects the deep bonds of cooperation and mutual respect that characterise relations between the two nations within the Gulf Cooperation Council framework.
