Dhafer Rashed Al Qasimi, Group Chief Executive of Silal, emphasised the significance of collaborative enterprise: “Through collaboration and innovation, we aim to translate opportunities into practical solutions that support local production, strengthen the resilience of the UAE’s food security ecosystem, and contribute to market stability.”
Beyond exhibition activities, Silal will formalise several strategic partnerships through memoranda of understanding with governmental entities, advancing mutual objectives in agricultural development and food sector innovation. These agreements reflect the Group’s wider commitment to nurturing sustainable food systems across the region.
Global Food Week 2026 convenes under the unifying theme “Global Partnerships for a Resilient Food Future,” positioning food security as a collaborative endeavour requiring international knowledge exchange and technological advancement. The forum addresses the critical imperative of developing agricultural systems capable of meeting future demands whilst maintaining environmental stewardship and economic viability.
Silal’s participation underscores the UAE’s strategic positioning as a centre of agricultural innovation, where technological advancement and traditional expertise converge to address contemporary food security challenges. The Group’s presentation of integrated solutions—from research and development through to consumer distribution—reflects the sophisticated approach now characterising the region’s approach to self-sufficiency and sustainable food production.
