The golfer highlighted the distinctive character of the course, with its integration of the equestrian facilities and racing track creating a truly distinctive championship experience.

Nolan’s victory represents a significant milestone in his professional career, propelling him 31 places up the Road to Mallorca Rankings to 12th position. This advancement places him firmly within the top 15 contenders who will secure DP World Tour cards for 2027, with two remaining qualifying events in China and the prestigious Grand Final in Mallorca still to come.

The Abu Dhabi Challenge attracted 144 competitors representing 25 nations, underlining the tournament’s status as a significant fixture on the professional golf calendar. His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan participated as guest of honour in the tournament’s pro-am competition.

Freddie Schmeisser, Managing Director Tournament & Operations Middle East at the DP World Tour, commended all stakeholders involved in delivering the event. He emphasised the importance of bringing international sporting competition to Al Ain, noting the tournament’s significance as the UAE’s sporting season commenced. Schmeisser acknowledged the crucial support of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Emirates Golf Federation, and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.

The HotelPlanner Tour now transitions to Asia, with back-to-back events scheduled in China commencing with the Hainan Open from October 8-11.
