His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, attended the signing of three pivotal strategic cooperation agreements on Sunday morning, each poised to strengthen the emirate’s educational landscape through collaborative institutional partnerships.
The Sharjah Private Education Authority formalised agreements with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO), FranklinCovey Middle East, and Faseeh E-Learning Centre. Ali Ahmed Al Hosani, Director-General of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, joined Salem Omar Salem, Director of the ICESCO Regional Office in Sharjah, Ammar Ahmed Abdulrasoul, CEO of FranklinCovey Middle East, and Dr Sajida Salem Mohammed, Executive Director of Faseeh E-Learning Centre, in executing the accords.
Broadening Educational Horizons
The ICESCO collaboration establishes a comprehensive framework for institutional cooperation spanning education, science, culture, technology, innovation and youth development. This flexible partnership seeks to elevate private education standards whilst promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise across local, regional and international contexts, fostering initiatives of sustained impact without predetermined project constraints.
The FranklinCovey Middle East partnership concentrates on leadership development within schools, emphasising teacher empowerment and strengthened family-school partnerships. The celebrated “Leader in Me” programme, tailored for secondary school students throughout Sharjah’s private institutions, aims to cultivate leadership capabilities, personal responsibility and civic engagement among young learners.
Advancing Arabic Language Excellence
The Faseeh E-Learning Centre agreement prioritises the advancement of Arabic-language education through specialised expertise and contemporary pedagogical development. This collaboration encompasses teaching staff training, curriculum refinement and the integration of modern technological and artificial intelligence applications within Arabic language instruction and resource development.
Collectively, these agreements reflect the emirate’s commitment to educational excellence through strategic partnership and knowledge exchange, positioning Sharjah’s private education sector for sustained advancement and international alignment.
