Abu Dhabi Customs and Quality Council Forge Strategic Partnership on Data and Compliance

Two key regulatory bodies have signed a landmark agreement to enhance cooperation, streamline trade operations and strengthen product safety standards across the emirate.

Abu Dhabi Customs and the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council have formalised their commitment to collaborative governance through a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant step towards integrated regulatory excellence.

The agreement, signed by Obaid Musallem Al Ameri, Acting Director-General of Abu Dhabi Customs, and Abdulla Ahmed Al Yazeedi, Acting Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, establishes a structured framework for seamless information exchange and coordinated operations.

The partnership creates designated electronic channels through which the two entities will share critical foreign trade data from customs ports.
