ADIPEC 2026 Convenes Global Energy Leadership in Abu Dhabi

The Middle East's defining influence on international energy security takes centre stage this November as Abu Dhabi hosts thousands of regional and global leaders for ADIPEC 2026.

Abu Dhabi will welcome an extraordinary convocation of energy leaders and innovators from across the globe when ADIPEC 2026 unfolds from 2 to 5 November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and the newly utilised Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. Held under the distinguished patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and hosted by ADNOC, this preeminent gathering promises to reshape conversations around global energy development and security.

The conference will draw an anticipated 239,000 attendees representing more than 170 nations, alongside over 2,250 exhibiting companies and 1,800 speakers. This remarkable assembly underscores Abu Dhabi’s position as a trusted and pivotal destination for international energy discourse and investment.

Against a backdrop of escalating global energy demand and geopolitical complexity, ADIPEC 2026 will serve as a vital forum for connecting the region’s substantial energy capabilities with international expertise, capital and markets. The proceedings will forge essential partnerships and facilitate the strategic decisions necessary to secure reliable energy supplies and catalyse future economic growth.

An exceptional roster of regional and international government representatives will participate, including the UAE’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, alongside ministers from Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Lebanon and Libya. The gathering will encompass ministers from Germany, Türkiye and Japan, alongside leadership from preeminent energy companies including ADNOC, Masdar, TAQA, Shell, bp and TotalEnergies, amongst many others.

The expanded artificial intelligence zone, co-hosted by AIQ, will illuminate how emerging technologies are transitioning from theoretical innovation to operational reality across the energy sector. This distinctive showcase will reveal real-world applications spanning reservoir modelling, autonomous upstream operations, infrastructure assessment and subsea robotics, demonstrating how intelligent systems enhance operational performance and accelerate decision-making throughout the industry.

Abdulmunim Saif Al Kindy, Chair of ADIPEC, remarked that the conference convenes at a pivotal moment for the global energy industry. He emphasised that whilst geopolitical disruptions present formidable challenges, the world requires greater energy supply in multiple forms, delivered with enhanced reliability. Achieving this imperative demands substantial investment, technological advancement and robust international partnerships, all central to ADIPEC 2026’s agenda.

Across thirteen comprehensive conference programmes and more than 380 sessions, the event will address critical priorities including energy security and resilience, investment frameworks, energy infrastructure development, natural gas and liquefied natural gas expansion, artificial intelligence applications, and industrial capacity growth.

The UAE’s expanding international energy investments, channelled through companies such as ADNOC, XRG, Masdar and Mubadala Energy, exemplify the nation’s instrumental role in extending regional capabilities across natural gas, chemicals, renewable energy and infrastructure, thereby strengthening global partnerships and connecting regional expertise with worldwide demand.
