B-Lounge: Sheraton Abu Dhabi’s Palm-Garden Escape by the Gulf

A garden lounge rather than another hotel bar
B-Lounge’s greatest asset is that it does not feel boxed into the Sheraton Abu Dhabi. The venue is tucked into the hotel’s palm-tree gardens, with open-air seating and the Arabian Gulf beyond, so the experience is closer to a relaxed resort hideaway than a conventional lobby bar. Marriott’s current description stresses comfortable seating, live entertainment and DJ sessions, while Abu Dhabi’s official tourism site similarly positions it as an alfresco dining address. That combination gives B-Lounge a useful niche on the Corniche: casual enough for a spontaneous drink, but atmospheric enough to carry a full evening when the weather is right.

Food built to stay at the table
The menu is broad rather than doctrinaire, which is exactly what this kind of lounge needs. Sheraton describes international cuisine, snack-style nibbles and grills alongside mocktails and a full drinks programme. The point is not a tasting-menu narrative; it is food that can arrive in stages while conversation, music and the outdoor setting do the rest. Shisha extends that late-evening rhythm, and the venue’s current promotions – including margarita pitchers and longer drinks packages – reinforce that this is a social destination rather than a formal restaurant disguised as a bar. It is the kind of place where the table can begin with a couple of plates and easily turn into a longer night.

A Corniche classic that still has a clear role
Abu Dhabi’s hotel-bar landscape changes quickly, but B-Lounge still has a recognisable reason to exist. Sheraton’s current Marriott dining roster lists it alongside the hotel’s more traditional restaurants and bars, with service through midnight and a dedicated reservation number. A separate Sheraton experiences microsite currently gives a 10am opening while Marriott’s principal dining page says noon, so the conservative plan is to use noon unless the venue confirms earlier service on the day. That small timing discrepancy does not cast doubt on whether B-Lounge is operating. For residents, the draw is the garden and the chance to sit outdoors without leaving central Abu Dhabi; for hotel guests, it is the easiest route from room to a more atmospheric evening. Either way, B-Lounge works best as a palm-framed, unhurried outdoor hangout where Gulf air, shisha, music and uncomplicated food share equal billing.
