Burjeel Holdings Unites Healthcare Brands to Expand Accessible Care Across the Emirates

A transformative restructuring brings together three established healthcare providers under unified leadership, strengthening the group's commitment to serving diverse populations whilst maintaining operational excellence.
Burjeel Holdings has unveiled an ambitious consolidation of its healthcare portfolio, establishing a dedicated platform that unites its LLH, Lifecare and Medeor brands beneath a cohesive leadership structure. This strategic initiative forms a cornerstone of the group’s Burjeel 2.0 transformation programme, designed to enhance operational efficiency and foster sustainable growth throughout the United Arab Emirates.
The unified platform represents a substantial healthcare presence across the Emirates, encompassing six internationally accredited hospitals and twenty four medical centres and clinics. With more than five hundred beds and over two thousand four hundred healthcare professionals, the consolidated entity serves populations across diverse segments, including middle and lower income communities alongside industrial workforces.
Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Burjeel Holdings, emphasised that the restructuring enables the group to optimise resource deployment and strengthen operational integration. Importantly, each constituent brand retains its distinct identity and specialised focus, allowing continued service to specific patient populations and communities.
The platform’s performance demonstrates its significance within the broader group architecture. During 2025, the unified facilities recorded over two point three million outpatient visits, whilst contributing twenty two point seven percent of the Group’s revenue in the first half of 2026. This substantial contribution underscores the strategic value of accessible healthcare delivery.
Under the stewardship of Dr. Narendra D Sonigra, the platform is pursuing an ambitious expansion trajectory. A new seventy five bed LLH Hospital in Jebel Ali, Dubai, is planned to serve the region’s industrial workforce and neighbouring communities with enhanced capacity. This facility will complement the development of more than ten additional clinics distributed across the Emirates.
These expanded facilities are envisioned as strategic entry points into an integrated healthcare ecosystem, facilitating seamless patient pathways. Individuals requiring sophisticated or complex treatment can be efficiently referred to the group’s advanced care facilities, ensuring continuity and excellence throughout the patient journey.
