Chinese women entrepreneurs conclude landmark UAE visit to strengthen bilateral ties
A delegation of 15 leading female business leaders from China has concluded a two-week visit to the United Arab Emirates, establishing frameworks for sustained economic cooperation between the two nations.
A high-level economic delegation comprising fifteen prominent women entrepreneurs from the People’s Republic of China has concluded an extensive two-week official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The visit was jointly organised by the General Women’s Union and the UAE Embassy in Beijing, reflecting the strategic importance placed on deepening bilateral relations.
Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women’s Union, highlighted the visit’s significance as a demonstration of the distinguished partnership between the two nations. She noted that the initiative represents the realisation of a national vision focused on advancing women’s economic empowerment and international leadership presence, executed under the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation” and Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union.
The delegation represented companies and business groups with combined annual revenues of approximately 4.85 billion yuan, with operations spanning diverse sectors including industry, hospitality, food security, biotechnology, infrastructure development, renewable energy, smart lighting systems and investment services.
Throughout their visit, the entrepreneurs undertook comprehensive meetings and field visits across multiple emirates, establishing a robust foundation for collaborative frameworks. These engagements have created meaningful opportunities for sustainable cooperation and economic partnerships that will contribute to development and innovation across both nations.
The successful conclusion of this diplomatic and commercial mission underscores the mutual commitment of the United Arab Emirates and the People’s Republic of China to building enduring strategic partnerships.
