H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, graced the graduation ceremony of the 2025–2026 cohort of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Programme, reaffirming the emirate’s dedication to nurturing exceptional leadership talent. The momentous occasion took place during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, an esteemed annual gathering that convened 1,000 distinguished leaders from Dubai’s government and private sectors.
The Programme, meticulously designed upon the visionary leadership model of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, embodies a comprehensive philosophy for cultivating leaders of exceptional calibre. The cohort comprised 30 participants drawn from government entities, semi-government organisations, the private sector and entrepreneurial ventures, representing expertise across 15 vital sectors and reflecting a remarkable breadth of professional specialisation.
Throughout an intensive nine month journey, participants engaged with more than 70 internationally recognised experts and 15 strategic partners, complemented by direct mentorship from 31 Emirati leaders of distinguished accomplishment. This immersive experience encompassed specialised learning modules and comprehensive training modules designed to strengthen strategic acumen and global perspective.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that the Programme translates Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision by developing national leaders possessed of bold thinking, confident decision making, and the capacity to transform visionary ideas into transformational projects of enduring impact. The Crown Prince affirmed Dubai’s resolute commitment to supporting developmental programmes that empower national talent and enhance their readiness to assume greater responsibilities.
The graduates have completed 30 individual leadership projects reflecting their personal and professional advancement, alongside six transformational initiatives designed to generate economic, social and operational benefit. These projects addressed smart education, sustainable services, public safety, humanitarian healthcare, talent development and cultural hospitality, thereby supporting service quality enhancement and contributing meaningfully to the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.
The Programme cultivates eight core leadership competencies: strategic foresight, global citizenship, disruptive mindset, passion and commitment, value creation, diversity and inclusion, people first, and curiosity and agility. The Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development, since its establishment, has distinguished itself as one of the world’s pre eminent leadership development institutions, advancing the visionary directive that investment in human capital forms both the foundation and ultimate objective of successful development strategy.
