Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Arrives in Jordan for Historic Railway Project Ceremony

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has arrived in Aqaba, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for a working visit centred on a significant infrastructure milestone for the region.
His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, personally received His Highness upon arrival at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, accompanied by senior government officials. The ceremonial reception underscored the warmth of bilateral relations and diplomatic importance of the occasion.
In a distinguished gesture of welcome, the Crown Prince’s aircraft was escorted by military aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force as it entered Jordanian airspace, reflecting the high-level nature of the visit and the strong ties between the two nations.
The primary purpose of His Highness’s visit is to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Aqaba–Al-Shidiyeh–Maan Railway Project, an undertaking of considerable strategic and economic significance for the region. The project represents an important development in regional infrastructure, promising enhanced connectivity and commercial opportunities across the Hashemite Kingdom.
