Dubai Safari Park Opens Season 8 with ‘Wildest Opening Week’ Celebration

The destination welcomes visitors from 12 October with immersive wildlife experiences centred on education, entertainment and conservation
Dubai Safari Park is preparing to launch its eighth season, inviting guests from 12 October to experience a carefully curated programme of wildlife encounters and educational activities. The new season operates under the theme ‘Live More Wild Life’, designed to deepen visitors’ appreciation for natural habitats and conservation efforts.
Coinciding with the school mid-term break, the park will host the ‘Wildest Opening Week’ from 12 to 18 October, a seven-day inaugural celebration featuring interactive experiences for all ages. The programme includes creative workshops, photography activities and bespoke keepsakes that blend entertainment with meaningful engagement.
The ‘Little Explorers’ Base Camp’ serves as the centrepiece of opening-week activities, offering children dedicated spaces to learn and play through safari-themed experiences. These encompass face painting, clay modelling, arts and crafts, lawn games and inflatable attractions, fostering connections between young visitors and the natural world.
Beyond opening week, the park’s comprehensive offering spans six themed zones reflecting diverse ecosystems. The Arabian Desert Safari, included with all admission tickets, showcases lions, giraffes, rhinos and numerous other species in expansive environments designed to reflect their natural habitats. Visitors may upgrade to the Safari Bundle, which incorporates the Explorer Safari Tour for enhanced wildlife observation.
Premium experiences cater to those seeking exclusive encounters. ‘King of Safari’, ‘Behind the Scenes’, ‘Dine in the Wild’ and ‘Jungle Capture’ provide private tours, restricted-access opportunities and distinctive dining experiences adjacent to animal enclosures. Live presentations including ‘Birds Kingdom’, ‘Echoes of the Wild’ and ‘Birds of Prey’ deliver insights into animal behaviour whilst emphasising the park’s conservation mission.
Spanning 119 hectares, Dubai Safari Park provides sanctuary for more than 3,000 animals representing 300 species. The destination reinforces its commitment to animal welfare through support for international research and breeding programmes, alongside active participation in wildlife rescue initiatives. These endeavours establish the park as a significant contributor to global conservation efforts whilst maintaining its position as one of Dubai’s foremost family destinations.
