Dubai unveils ‘Future Perfects’ recruitment initiative at Museum of the Future

The Museum of the Future launches an innovative talent search to discover individuals who will become the human heart of its reimagined visitor experience, prioritising imagination, curiosity and emotional intelligence over conventional credentials.
Dubai has inaugurated an imaginative recruitment initiative through the Museum of the Future, inviting applications for a distinctive role titled ‘Future Perfects’. This unconventional talent search seeks individuals who will become the human face of the Museum’s visitor experience, embodying qualities that transcend the boundaries of traditional employment documentation.
The Museum is seeking individuals distinguished by imagination, curiosity, emotional intelligence, commanding communication skills and the capacity for adaptation. These carefully selected candidates will assume full-time positions within the Museum’s Visitor Experience team, commencing in November 2026, and will be instrumental in bringing to life the Museum’s completely reimagined visitor experience and narrative as it prepares for its reopening in 2027.
Rather than evaluating candidates solely through conventional means, the Museum has designed a distinctive assessment process that observes these qualities in action. Shortlisted applicants will progress through live assessments before an expert judging panel, culminating in final auditions that reveal authentic capabilities that rarely emerge through traditional application methods.
A Future Perfect functions as both guide and storyteller: a welcoming presence who ignites curiosity, translates intricate concepts into engaging dialogue, and fosters connections that resonate across diverse ages, cultures and backgrounds. The ideal candidates possess natural communication abilities, attentive listening skills and confident problem solving capabilities, demonstrating adaptability when encountering unexpected circumstances. Significantly, prior museum experience or background in customer service is not a prerequisite for consideration.
Azza AlNuaimi, Chief Operating Officer of Museum of the Future, reflected upon the initiative’s significance: “Dubai has established its global standing by recognising possibilities before they become self-evident and cultivating conditions wherein people, ideas and ambition may flourish and be realised. The Museum of the Future embodies this identical philosophy. It does not merely enquire what the future will resemble, but rather who shall shape it, how individuals will experience it, and how each person may discern their own position within it.”
She continued, “As technological advancement expands the realm of possibility, human curiosity, imagination and genuine connection remain essential in how we investigate, comprehend and influence those possibilities. These qualities cannot be quantified through academic credentials, professional titles or years of accumulated experience. The Future Perfects reflect Dubai’s conviction in recognising potential beyond conventional trajectories. We seek individuals who may never have contemplated museum employment yet possess precisely what a museum of the future requires.”
The application window remains open until 8th November 2026 through the official Future Perfects auditions portal. The selection process commences with online applications, progressing through live assessments, shortlisting and a concluding casting day featuring live auditions. Throughout this journey, candidates are evaluated upon communication proficiency, adaptability, ability to respond thoughtfully in the moment, and capacity to establish meaningful connections with others.
The Museum additionally invites members of the public to nominate individuals they believe would embody the qualities of an exceptional Future Perfect through its official social media channels.
Since its opening in 2022, the Museum of the Future has welcomed more than five million visitors from across the globe, representing over 180 nationalities.
