Eleven leading Dubai enterprises commit to Agentic AI integration
A significant coalition of prominent companies across diverse sectors has pledged to embrace advanced artificial intelligence technologies, marking a pivotal moment in Dubai's digital transformation journey.
In a momentous gathering presided over by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, eleven distinguished Dubai-based enterprises have formally committed to integrating Agentic AI technologies into their operational frameworks. The pledge, orchestrated through Dubai Chambers, represents a substantial commitment from the private sector to advancing the adoption of these transformative technologies.
This undertaking emerges from Dubai’s private sector Agentic AI transformation programme, an ambitious initiative launched in May of this year by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. Under the stewardship of Dubai Chambers, the programme endeavours to empower businesses to unlock the considerable potential inherent in these sophisticated technological solutions.
The companies participating in this transformative pledge encompass a remarkable breadth of sectors: Emirates, DP World, AW Rostamani Group, Al Ansari Exchange, Dubai Islamic Bank, Kitopi, Dutco Group, Aster DM Healthcare, Innovo, Independent Food Company and HSA Group.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Chambers, articulated the profound significance of this development, characterising Agentic AI as representing a new evolutionary phase in business models. He emphasised that these technologies offer extraordinary opportunities for enterprises to fundamentally transform their operations, elevate service quality and facilitate swifter, more discerning decision-making capabilities. The broader programme encompasses specialised training curricula recently inaugurated by Dubai Chambers, designed to facilitate the adoption of these technologies among a vast commercial ecosystem. These educational initiatives aim to equip more than fourteen thousand companies, represented through Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s Business Groups and Business Councils, with the requisite knowledge and capabilities to seamlessly incorporate Agentic AI into their administrative and operational endeavours.
Additional components of this comprehensive initiative include the establishment of dedicated incubators for Agentic AI enterprises, alongside targeted support mechanisms for developing and deploying Agentic AI solutions. The programme further addresses talent cultivation, expanded access to financial resources, facilitation of collaborative knowledge exchange and the strengthening of capabilities across Dubai’s thriving commercial community.
