Garage at W Abu Dhabi: A Culinary Circuit of Distinct Stations and Refined Pleasures

Garage restaurant interior at W Abu Dhabi Yas Island overlooking the circuit

A Sanctuary of Culinary Personalities

Garage at W Abu Dhabi on Yas Island reimagines the hotel restaurant as a refined culinary destination, eschewing the conventional buffet in favour of distinctly curated stations, each commanding its own gastronomic identity. The room unfolds as an orchestrated progression through Nikkei House, where Japanese and Peruvian traditions intertwine; Steam Table, celebrating the vibrant energy of Asian street food; Mezza Bar, presenting an elevated collection of Middle Eastern appetisers; Meat Vault, showcasing the finest Wagyu and premium beef selections; and Tart Van, concluding the journey with nostalgic and artisanal desserts. This deliberate spatial arrangement transforms what might otherwise be a conventional offering into an experience of genuine culinary theatre.

Stations with Commanding Presence

The restaurant’s true strength resides in the autonomy granted to each station. Rather than surrendering to a homogenised kitchen aesthetic, every culinary corner maintains its own integrity and excellence. Diners have celebrated the tender short ribs, delicate bao buns, aromatic drunken noodles and perfectly executed egg fried rice, whilst the breakfast service commands particular praise for its extraordinary breadth and refinement. The Saturday brunch, held from 1pm to 4pm, offers the most concentrated expression of this concept, drawing guests through the full spectrum of stations with an energy and liveliness that elevates the entire experience.

An Experience for the Discerning Palate

Garage thrives as a destination for those who cherish variety and movement throughout their meal. The theatrical presentation of the stations, coupled with the dynamic energy of the setting, invites guests to embark upon their own culinary circuit. Rather than attempting to encompass every offering at once, the sophisticated approach unfolds as a measured progression: selecting signature creations from one or two stations, then advancing gracefully to the next, concluding ultimately at Tart Van for an artisanal finale. Breakfast is served daily from 6:30am to 10:30am, with lunch and dinner available most days from 12:30pm to 10:30pm. The Saturday brunch operates from 1pm to 4pm, with evening service resuming at 6pm. Reservations may be arranged through W Abu Dhabi.
