Kalba Sports Festival Returns with Fresh Format and Ambitious Vision
Under the distinguished patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the reimagined Kalba Sports Festival will commence on November 6, promising an integrated celebration of athletic competition and community engagement.
The inaugural edition of the Kalba Sports Festival in its new format will unfold across nine days from November 6 to 14, marking a significant milestone for the emirate’s sporting calendar. Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the festival reflects the emirate’s commitment to establishing Kalba as a premier destination for major athletic and community events.
The Higher Organising Committee has finalised all essential planning and logistical arrangements, ensuring the festival will achieve its dual objectives of sporting excellence and community enrichment. Dr Saif Ahmed Al Zaabi, Board Member of the Sharjah Sports Council and Chairman of the Organising Committee, confirmed that preparations remain on schedule and fully aligned with the festival’s strategic vision.
