LEAD Development unveils RIMAS, an exclusive luxury residential community on Jubail Island
The sophisticated new development, launched at LIVEX 2026, comprises 167 bespoke villas nestled within Jubail Island's pristine natural landscape, reflecting Abu Dhabi's continued emergence as a premier global destination for refined living.
LEAD Development has unveiled RIMAS, an elegant luxury residential community situated on Jubail Island, during the LIVEX 2026 exhibition held in Abu Dhabi. The development represents a significant addition to the emirate’s distinguished portfolio of residential offerings.
The community comprises 167 carefully appointed villas, encompassing 76 four-bedroom residences, 76 five-bedroom homes and 15 six-bedroom properties. Plot sizes range from approximately 850 to 1,716 square metres, providing residents with generous space and privacy within a curated environment.
Spanning approximately 542,351 square metres between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, RIMAS has been thoughtfully designed to harmonise with Jubail Island’s distinctive natural features, including its mangroves, waterways and verdant green spaces. Mangroves account for approximately 60 percent of the project’s area, preserving the island’s ecological character.
The community offers an impressive array of amenities designed to enhance residents’ quality of life. These include an elevated waterfront promenade, resort-style swimming facilities, beachfront gymnasium and wellbeing centre, a dedicated community beach, kayak station, sports courts and dedicated pathways for walking, running and cycling. A Mangrove Trail will gracefully connect the community with both Jubail Island Mangrove Park and Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts, fostering connections with the island’s cultural and natural heritage.
Mounir Haidar, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of LEAD Development, expressed that RIMAS embodies the company’s vision for communities where environmental quality, everyday living standards and meaningful social connections converge harmoniously.
Abdullah Saeed Al Shamsi, General Manager of Jubail Island Investment Company, confirmed that RIMAS constitutes the inaugural project within Jubail Island’s second development phase. He emphasised the project’s commitment to low-rise architecture and extensive green spaces, seamlessly integrated with the island’s natural environment. The investment in RIMAS reaches approximately AED4 billion, with approximately 70 percent of residential units having been sold since the launch.
The development contributes to Jubail Island’s expanding status as an integrated residential community, which has already delivered more than 1,000 homes across six villages, complemented by an expanding selection of residential, retail, dining, educational and leisure amenities.
