LPM Abu Dhabi: Riviera Lightness, Al Maryah Confidence and a Top-50 Place at the Table

A restaurant that has become part of the city

LPM Abu Dhabi has reached the point where longevity is one of its luxury signals. The restaurant celebrated eight years in the capital in October 2025, and Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants ranked it No.47 for 2026, noting how deeply it has become embedded in Abu Dhabi’s dining scene. The formula is remarkably disciplined. Rather than chase heavy fine-dining theatrics, LPM keeps returning to the produce of the Riviera and wider Mediterranean: tomatoes, lemons, olives, courgettes, artichokes, peppers, mushrooms, seafood, meat and pasta. The room at The Galleria is polished but bright, and the food is designed to arrive as a sequence of plates for the table rather than isolated compositions.

The ingredients do the talking, but the signatures have staying power

The current menu still contains the dishes that made the brand recognisable while allowing seasonal additions around them. Burrata with tomatoes and basil, marinated sweet peppers, warm prawns with olive oil and lemon, yellowtail carpaccio, escargots and cauliflower salad lead naturally into salt-baked sea bass, lamb cutlets with aubergine caviar, duck confit with orange, grilled rib eye and large-format sharing dishes. The AED 450 signature menu bundles many of those classics into a structured table experience, while weekday business lunch keeps the restaurant accessible at a lower entry point. The famous Tomatini remains part of the drinks identity, but the kitchen never feels like support act to the bar.

Precision without stiffness

LPM currently serves Monday to Friday from noon to 4pm and 6pm to 11pm, with weekend lunch from 12:30pm to 4pm and dinner again from 6pm to 11pm. The bar remains open daily until 1am, and reservations are on +971 2 692 9600. For Simply Abu Dhabi, this is one of the capital’s benchmark restaurants because it understands repetition: regulars want the same quality, pace and signatures without the experience becoming stale. Order several starters, one or two mains for the table and something green or potato on the side. The best meal here feels effortless, even though the consistency required to make it feel that way is anything but.
