Recognition for Excellence

There exists a particular grace in being acknowledged by those whose palates have guided the city’s gastronomic evolution. Pincode by Kunal Kapur has received such recognition, having been named Favourite Indian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi at the FACT Dining Awards 2026, a recognition that speaks to something fundamental about the establishment’s character and ambition.

The accolade belongs as much to those who have chosen to dine here as to the kitchen and front of house alike. Each meal shared across the dining room represents a moment of trust, a decision to explore and to savour. The award acknowledges this collective journey, the cumulative weight of countless encounters between diner and dish.

Pincode by Kunal Kapur has established itself as a thoughtful interpreter of Indian cuisine, one that respects tradition whilst embracing refinement. The restaurant transforms classical recipes into something that feels both rooted and contemporary, creating an experience that resonates with Abu Dhabi’s discerning diners who understand that authenticity and elegance need not be mutually exclusive.

The FACT Dining Awards represent the considered judgement of those deeply immersed in the city’s food culture, making such recognition meaningful not merely as affirmation but as validation of a particular philosophy. The restaurant’s approach to hospitality and its dedication to culinary craft have clearly left an impression that extends beyond a single meal or isolated encounter.

Recognition of this kind often crystallises something that has been building quietly in the background: a reputation earned through consistency, through attention to detail, and through an abiding respect for those who walk through the door. Pincode by Kunal Kapur’s achievement belongs to its guests as much as to its team, a shared accomplishment born from the simple but profound act of coming together around food.
