Russian Export Centre to Unveil Advanced Technologies at WETEX 2026

Twenty-one Russian companies will present cutting-edge solutions in energy, water treatment and environmental sustainability at the prestigious international exhibition this October.

The Russian Export Centre will present an impressive array of innovative technologies and solutions at the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition, taking place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The exhibition, organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, represents a significant platform for advanced industrial solutions across the Middle East and North Africa region.

The unified national pavilion, operating under the prestigious ‘Made in Russia’ brand, will feature twenty-one exhibiting companies offering comprehensive solutions spanning the energy, water, sustainability and environmental sectors. These offerings encompass protective solutions for overhead power transmission networks, sophisticated monitoring equipment designed to enhance operational security, autonomous cleaning robots, environmental and ventilation systems, advanced construction technologies, specialised underwater equipment for marine resource exploration, and advanced filtration technologies for drinking water, seawater and wastewater treatment.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, emphasised the significance of the Russian participation: “The growing participation of Russian companies at WETEX supports the creation of new opportunities for companies in high-growth markets worldwide, and enhancing investments in value-added sectors.”

Najibullo Jabbori, Chief Representative of the Russian Export Centre in the United Arab Emirates, highlighted the strategic importance of the showcase: “We are particularly proud that, for another year, the Russian Export Centre has organised a unified national pavilion under the ‘Made in Russia’ brand at WETEX. Our participation here is not merely symbolic. It reflects a deliberate and strategic commitment to the Middle East and North Africa markets. Russian companies present at WETEX 2026 bring much more than products; they bring proven, cutting-edge solutions that align directly with the region’s sustainability goals. From innovative transformer substations and high-voltage equipment to advanced environmental and water treatment technologies, our exhibitors demonstrate the depth of Russia’s engineering capabilities.”

The Russian Export Centre, part of the VEB.RF Group, functions as a state-backed institution dedicated to supporting Russia’s non-commodity and non-energy exports. The organisation provides comprehensive financial and non-financial assistance to companies across diverse industries, enabling their expansion into international markets and strengthening their competitive positioning globally.

Through its flagship ‘Made in Russia’ initiative, the Centre advances the international visibility and competitiveness of Russian products, showcasing their distinctive qualities including sustainability, reliability and technological excellence, thereby reinforcing global recognition of Russian quality standards and engineering prowess.
