Ru’ya 2026 Career Fair Opens with 150+ Leading Employers
Dubai World Trade Centre hosts major employment and education event for Emirati students and professionals, featuring diverse sectors and innovative career guidance initiatives
Ru’ya 2026 commences tomorrow at Dubai World Trade Centre, convening more than 150 employers across over 23 sectors alongside universities, government entities and industry partners. The four-day event, concluding on 30th September, has been specifically designed to serve Emirati students, graduates and young professionals seeking to navigate contemporary career landscapes.
Operating under the theme “Ready for What’s Next? The Future of Work”, this year’s edition reflects the transformative shifts reshaping global employment. The programme encompasses employment opportunities, comprehensive career guidance, educational pathways, leadership development, entrepreneurship and innovation, responding to accelerating changes across professional sectors worldwide.
Asma Al Sharif, Assistant Vice President for Sustainability and Exhibitions Management at Dubai World Trade Centre, emphasised the event’s significance. She explained that Ru’ya provides young Emiratis with the opportunity to discover industries, academic disciplines and career trajectories they may not have previously encountered, whilst enabling direct engagement with employers and access to crucial information and experiential learning.
The Academic Hub, supported by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), represents a cornerstone initiative. Students can explore universities and academic programmes throughout the UAE and internationally, investigate scholarship opportunities and admission criteria, identify internship positions and establish meaningful connections between their academic selections and prospective career trajectories.
The Ru’ya Podcast Studio returns in partnership with Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), hosting conversations between industry leaders, employers and young Emiratis regarding emerging career opportunities, evolving workplace expectations and the competencies required as technological advancement and artificial intelligence transform industries.
Participating employers represent diverse sectors encompassing banking, technology, professional services, government, retail, infrastructure and emerging industries. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank participates as Gold Sponsor, whilst Emirates NBD serves as Youth Empowerment Banking Partner.
The 2025 edition attracted more than 120 leading companies and engaged over 15,000 UAE nationals alongside more than 3,000 students, with participating organisations presenting thousands of employment opportunities.
