Sharjah Animation and Comics Conference Unveils Comprehensive Business Programme to Connect Creators with Global Industry Leaders

The 2026 conference transforms creative concepts into commercial ventures through dedicated business sessions, producer meetings and expert-led talks on intellectual property and international collaboration.

The forthcoming Sharjah Animation and Comics Conference 2026 promises to illuminate the intricate business dimensions of animation creation, drawing together the creative minds and commercial acumen essential for transforming conceptual visions into marketable projects. Taking place at Aljada, Sharjah, from 22 to 25 October, the conference’s Business Programme establishes a distinguished platform where creators, producers, studio leaders and entrepreneurs converge to explore the practical pathways that navigate animation projects from conception through to successful market entry.

At the heart of this initiative lies a dedicated Business Area, meticulously crafted to serve as a convergence point for animation professionals and industry decision-makers. This specialised space facilitates business-focused discourse and intimate one-to-one consultations, enabling participants to present their projects directly, deliberate prospective collaborations, cultivate professional relationships and identify pathways to accessing untapped markets.

The Business Programme addresses the fundamental stages integral to developing and commercialising creative endeavours. These encompass establishing clear ownership rights, formulating compelling pitches, structuring coherent commercial proposals, exploring co-production opportunities and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and clients.

Two prestigious “Meet the Producers” sessions form a central cornerstone of the Business Area, extending exclusive access to Business Pass holders. These sessions, scheduled for Friday, 23 October and Saturday, 24 October, unite participants with professionals from distinguished animation studios and complementary creative enterprises. Participants may reserve meetings in advance, with additional walk-in consultations available subject to capacity.

The curated roster of industry participants encompasses internationally recognised entities including Magic Carpet Studios, Polygon Pictures, Basement Animation Studio, Hi-Tech Animation, Toei Animation Europe and giraffics studio, alongside My Bestie Entertainment, KidsAI, Saudi Entertainment Ventures, G Media Studios, AfricAI and the innovative partnership of Sinai.ai and Sinai Studios.

The conference’s expert-led talks illuminate crucial domains within animation commerce. Stefano La Porta’s sessions address intellectual property structuring and adaptation rights negotiation, whilst Pietro Pinetti examines the multifaceted considerations essential to successful international co-productions. Mounia Aram elucidates the transformation of creative concepts into investor-ready presentations, and Ashish Thapar explores the sophisticated process of positioning studio services within the international marketplace.

Through this comprehensive amalgamation of networking opportunities, strategic talks and professional mentorship, the Sharjah Animation and Comics Conference 2026 endeavours to equip participants with the commercial knowledge and industry relationships requisite for advancing their creative endeavours and enterprises.
