Sharjah Chamber Strengthens Ties with Badami Holding Group to Advance Private-Sector Growth

A strategic visit by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry explores collaboration opportunities with the automotive logistics leader, reinforcing the emirate's role as a regional commercial hub.

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has undertaken a substantive engagement with Badami Holding Group, one of the region’s foremost operators in automotive spare parts distribution and logistics solutions. The visit, led by Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, sought to examine the company’s operational framework and aspirations for expansion whilst identifying how the Chamber’s comprehensive business support ecosystem might facilitate further growth.

Badami Holding Group operates a significant regional distribution centre in Sharjah, which serves as a cornerstone of its global spare parts network. This facility exemplifies Sharjah’s strategic importance as a commercial and logistics nexus, connecting regional commerce with international trade corridors. The company also operates A-MAP, the exclusive UAE distributor of ADNOC Voyager oils and lubricants outside ADNOC’s authorised service station network, demonstrating diversified operational capabilities.

During the meeting, the Chamber’s delegation presented an array of business support services designed to strengthen competitiveness and facilitate international expansion. These encompass export development programmes, participation in specialised and general exhibitions, overseas trade missions, and access to global economic forums. The Sharjah Exports Development Centre outlined promotional initiatives targeting high-potential markets aligned with Badami Holding’s strategic objectives.

Asad Badami, Chief Executive and Managing Director, welcomed the Chamber’s engagement, emphasising the importance of direct institutional dialogue in understanding evolving business requirements and identifying pathways for international growth. The discussion further explored participation opportunities in the Sharjah Excellence Award, recognition of institutional best practices, and workforce development initiatives offered through the Sharjah Training and Development Centre.

The Chamber emphasised the role of Sectoral Business Groups as institutional platforms through which private-sector perspectives inform government policy and stakeholder engagement, particularly within the automotive and supply chain sectors. The delegation’s subsequent tour of Badami Holding’s logistics centre provided detailed insights into distribution operations, warehousing management, supply chain coordination, quality assurance protocols, and staff development infrastructure.

This engagement reflects the Sharjah Chamber’s broader strategic commitment to supporting private-sector institutions, enhancing operational excellence, and enabling companies to establish robust international presence. Such collaborative initiatives underscore the institutional framework supporting the UAE’s commercial ecosystem and Sharjah’s distinctive role within regional and global trade networks.
