Sharjah Crown Prince Honours Security Team Behind Landmark International Operation

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi recognised the exceptional dedication of Sharjah Police personnel who dismantled four interconnected criminal networks, securing assets worth over AED 65 billion and protecting more than 30 international institutions.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, has paid tribute to the outstanding achievements of Sharjah Police and the emirate’s security framework, attributing these successes to the visionary leadership and unwavering support of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
During a distinguished visit to Sharjah Police Headquarters, His Highness honoured the dedicated team responsible for Operation “End of Battle”, a landmark investigation conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and security authorities throughout the United Arab Emirates. In recognition of their exceptional efforts, the team received the Medal of Outstanding Performance, conferred by the Ruler of Sharjah.
Operation “End of Battle” represents a remarkable achievement in international law enforcement cooperation. The multi-agency investigation successfully dismantled four interconnected criminal networks, resulting in the arrest of 33 suspects of 12 different nationalities, including principal organisers of the operation. The networks had engaged in cyber intrusions, money laundering, digital wallet theft, fraud, extortion, data trafficking and violent assaults across multiple jurisdictions.
The scale of the operation’s impact is substantial. The investigation secured assets valued at over AED 65 billion, confiscated more than AED 200 million, and protected more than 30 companies and institutions operating worldwide. Additionally, investigators scrutinised and examined more than 3,000 digital wallets connected to the networks.
His Highness emphasised that these accomplishments reflect years of continuous dedication rather than momentary efforts. He addressed security personnel directly, acknowledging that their commitment, dedication and perseverance demonstrate excellence across all performance indicators. The Crown Prince stressed the importance of maintaining rigorous professional standards and development, recognising that effective law enforcement requires continual enhancement of skills and capabilities to address evolving criminal methodologies.
Addressing matters of professional conduct and ethical standards, His Highness underscored the imperative for police personnel to uphold exemplary behavioural standards, serve as role models within their communities, and demonstrate compassion alongside authority. He emphasised that respect for individuals, safeguarding of rights and property, and particular care in matters concerning personal honour and dignity must constitute the paramount priorities of security personnel.
During the visit, His Highness reviewed comprehensive strategic performance indicators reflecting Sharjah Police’s significant progress. These metrics demonstrated a 99.70 per cent general sense of security rating, 100 per cent emergency response compliance within specified timeframes, and a 90 per cent Emiratization rate. Notably, the crime rate for concerning offences decreased by 55 per cent in the first half of 2026 compared with the corresponding period in 2025, whilst detection rates for concerning crimes increased by 21 per cent.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, affirmed that such achievements constitute a direct result of the wise leadership’s vision and the collective commitment of all relevant entities throughout the emirate’s security apparatus. The Commander-in-Chief reaffirmed the force’s unwavering dedication to implementing leadership directives, safeguarding community security and safety, and providing exemplary services that strengthen Sharjah’s international standing.
His Highness toured the operations centre building, observing multiple control rooms equipped with advanced security systems and contemporary artificial intelligence technologies. These sophisticated facilities support rapid emergency response, facilitate informed decision-making and enable security operations of the highest effectiveness. The visit encompassed comprehensive briefings on networked systems, the Emergency Reports Management Centre, the 901 Contact Centre for non-emergency enquiries, and specialised simulation training facilities.
