His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a delegation from Khalifa University of Science and Technology led by President Professor Ebrahim Saeed Al Hajri, in a meeting that underscored the strategic importance of higher education and research infrastructure to the emirate’s economic diversification objectives.
The discussion centred upon the university’s multifaceted contributions to advancing national research capabilities across priority sectors. Professor Al Hajri detailed how Khalifa University’s research centres have emerged as catalysts for translating scientific discovery into practical industrial application, fostering partnerships with industry institutions that bridge the traditionally wide gap between academic research and market-ready technological solutions.
