Sheikh Khalid Celebrates Emirati Excellence in Ras Al Khaimah’s Etimad Professional Development Programme
The Vice Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah's Investment and Development Office has honoured participants who have achieved internationally recognised accounting qualifications through the emirate's flagship talent development initiative.
Ras Al Khaimah marked a significant milestone in professional development as Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Emirate’s Investment and Development Office, recognised the achievements of Emirati participants in the distinguished ‘Etimad’ programme.
The celebration, held at Nad Al Habbi Majlis, brought together senior officials and representatives to honour professionals who have successfully completed rigorous professional training in accounting and business disciplines. The ‘Etimad’ initiative, delivered in partnership with PwC and the Human Resources Department of Ras Al Khaimah, represents a cornerstone commitment to nurturing local talent.
In his remarks, Sheikh Khalid emphasised that the development of Emirati professionals reflects the forward-thinking vision of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, whose strategic focus on human capital investment continues to strengthen the emirate’s trajectory. The honourees represent a watershed moment, becoming the first cohort to earn the prestigious Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification through the programme in Ras Al Khaimah.
“We are proud of the success these Emirati professionals have achieved and remain committed to providing opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills, enabling them to contribute effectively to Ras Al Khaimah’s continued development,” Sheikh Khalid stated, extending his congratulations to participants and encouraging them to pursue their professional ambitions with determination.
