Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Appoints New Board for Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment

His Highness the Ruler of Dubai has issued a new decree establishing the leadership structure of the prestigious housing initiative, with Omar Hamad Abdullah Bu Shehab chairing the board.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai and in his role as Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, has issued Decree No. (32) of 2026 concerning the governance framework of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment.
The decree establishes a comprehensive board structure designed to guide the strategic direction and operational excellence of this significant housing initiative. Omar Hamad Abdullah Bu Shehab has been appointed to lead the board as Chairman, bringing his expertise to the organisation’s oversight and governance responsibilities.
Supporting the Chairman is Vice Chairman Mohammed Abdullah Al Tawhidi, who will work alongside a distinguished panel of board members. The board composition includes Nasser Abdullah bin Kharbash, Ali Mohammed Al Mutawa, Hamdan Khalifa Al Shaer, Jumaa Saeed Khalaf Al Ghaith, Hind Obaid Al Marri, and Abdulaziz Mohammed bin Shafar Al Marri. The Chief Executive Officer of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment also participates as a board member, ensuring operational leadership remains integrated with strategic governance.
