Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi Launches Master's in Management of Innovation and Artificial Intelligence

A prestigious new postgraduate programme combines technological expertise with ethical leadership to prepare professionals for AI-driven transformation across industries.

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi has unveiled a distinctive Master’s degree in Management of Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, positioning the institution at the forefront of advanced professional education as artificial intelligence reshapes global economies and industries.

Commencing in September 2026 as part of the University’s Year of Artificial Intelligence, the two-year programme represents a collaborative achievement between Sorbonne Université and the Sorbonne Centre for Artificial Intelligence. It reflects the institution’s commitment to advancing the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031 and the UAE Digital Economy Strategy, supporting the nation’s ambition to establish a globally competitive, AI-enabled economy.

The interdisciplinary curriculum integrates management, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, governance, ethics and innovation, ensuring graduates develop both strategic insight and technological proficiency. Instruction is delivered by internationally recognised Sorbonne faculty from Paris and Abu Dhabi, granting students access to cutting-edge research, global best practices and comprehensive business and technological expertise.

Designed for working professionals, the programme offers considerable flexibility through evening classes with optional blended learning arrangements incorporating 70 per cent campus-based instruction and 30 per cent online delivery where applicable. Small cohort sizes facilitate collaborative learning, personalised support and direct engagement with distinguished academics and industry specialists.

As Chancellor Nathalie Martial-Braz observed, artificial intelligence increasingly demands leaders who combine technical competence with profound understanding of ethical responsibility and sustainable innovation. The curriculum addresses this imperative through industry projects, real-world case studies, professional internships and research-based dissertations, delivering 120 ECTS credits across four semesters.

Graduates will be equipped to advance careers across diverse sectors including technology, consulting, government, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and research. The degree prepares them to lead AI strategy, digital transformation initiatives and responsible artificial intelligence implementation across organisations.

The programme holds dual accreditation from the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation and the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, affirming its academic standing and professional currency.
