UAE Strengthens International Security Partnerships at UN Congress
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan meets with INTERPOL President to advance global law enforcement cooperation and address transnational crime.
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has reinforced the United Arab Emirates’ commitment to international security cooperation through discussions with Lucas Filip, President of INTERPOL, held during the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
The bilateral engagement underscored the UAE’s proactive role in fostering collaborative partnerships amongst nations and law enforcement institutions worldwide. Both parties recognised the imperative of unified international efforts in addressing contemporary security challenges and safeguarding societies against criminal activity.
Central to their deliberations were mechanisms to deepen cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the broader international security community.
