Uzbekistan Commends UAE’s Stewardship of Global Crime Prevention Congress
A senior Uzbek official has praised the Emirates' exemplary hosting of the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, underscoring the nation's commitment to international cooperation on criminal justice matters.
The United Arab Emirates has received commendation from the Republic of Uzbekistan for its distinguished hosting of the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Abu Dhabi during 2026.
Nodira Khakimova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed appreciation for the Emirates’ organisational excellence and its facilitation of meaningful dialogue amongst participating nations. She emphasised the Congress’s significance in fostering the exchange of professional expertise and best practices across the international criminal justice community.
During her remarks to the Emirates News Agency, Khakimova highlighted the active participation of her nation’s delegation, noting that Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, delivered a substantive statement during the Congress’s high-level segment, contributing to the breadth of discussion.
The Uzbek delegation took particular prominence in a dedicated side event exploring the integration of technology to advance women’s leadership within criminal justice institutions.
