WETEX 2026 to Illuminate the Convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Occupational Wellbeing

Dubai's premier Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition will convene global thought leaders to explore how emerging technologies and innovative practices are reshaping workplace health and safety standards across the region.
The 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will unfold across three days from 20th to 22nd October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the distinguished patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
The forthcoming exhibition will establish a dedicated Health and Safety Hub, presenting a comprehensive programme of exhibitions and discourse designed to examine the latest innovations in occupational wellbeing across the spheres of educational institutions, residential environments and professional workplaces. The accompanying Health and Safety Conference will convene an assembly of internationally renowned executives and practitioners specialising in occupational health, safety protocols, employee wellbeing, emergency preparedness and contemporary workplace challenges.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, noted that the exhibition advances the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031, which endeavours to establish the United Arab Emirates as a preeminent global authority in quality of life standards.
The conference’s substantive discussions will illuminate innovations and technological solutions that fortify health and safety methodologies, whilst safeguarding human welfare, protecting assets and preserving the natural environment. Panel conversations will encompass the evolution of health, safety and environmental excellence through artificial intelligence, the establishment of trust and transparency in AI systems, psychological safety within technologically augmented workplaces, and the transformation of analytical data into preventative strategies. Additional thematic explorations will address employee wellbeing through behavioural approaches in digital contexts, the deployment of artificial intelligence and robotics as safety instruments, and leadership practices informed by comprehensive safety analytics.
