World's Tallest Gold Bar Captivates Visitors at Sharjah Watch & Jewellery Show

An extraordinary Guinness World Record-breaking gold bar measuring 2.12 metres takes centre stage at the prestigious 58th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, offering visitors a remarkable opportunity to engage with this record-holding masterpiece.

The 58th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show at Expo Centre Sharjah is drawing considerable attention to one of its most remarkable attractions: the world’s tallest gold bar, an officially recognised Guinness World Records achievement unveiled by BTC.

Standing at an impressive 2.12 metres (6 feet 11.5 inches), this extraordinary golden creation holds the official distinction as the world’s tallest gold bar, a status confirmed by the accompanying Guinness World Records certificate. Ingeniously designed in the form of a golden ruler, the record-breaking piece merges exceptional proportions with distinctive visual presentation, inviting visitors to engage directly with the display.

The centrepiece offers an interactive dimension through its innovative “Measure Your Height in Gold” concept, enabling visitors to stand alongside the monumental bar, compare their stature with its towering dimensions, and capture memorable photographs. Positioned vertically on a dedicated platform bearing the exhibition’s branding, the gold bar is accompanied by the official Guinness World Records certification, validating its remarkable achievement and status as a record holder.

The exhibition presents a sophisticated approach to showcasing precious metals, harmonising the intrinsic value of gold with inventive design and aesthetic appeal. Its remarkable height affords visitors an unparalleled opportunity to experience a gold piece at an unusual scale whilst interacting directly with the creation.

BTC’s participation in this record-breaking exhibition forms part of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, held at Expo Centre Sharjah from 30 September to 4 October 2026. The prestigious event features more than 500 brands from 19 countries, occupying an area exceeding 30,000 square metres and incorporating five international pavilions representing Hong Kong, India, Italy, Singapore and Thailand.

Spanning more than five decades of distinguished history, the exhibition continues to assemble jewellery houses, brands, designers, manufacturers, buyers and sector professionals, whilst showcasing the latest collections and designs featuring gold, diamonds, precious gemstones and timepieces of exceptional quality.
