Dubai honours exceptional educators with Golden Visas under Crown Prince’s directives

A distinguished group of private sector educators has been recognised through Dubai's Golden Visa initiative, celebrating their outstanding contributions to shaping the next generation of learners.
Dubai has marked World Teachers’ Day with the announcement of a prestigious recognition programme honouring exceptional educators working across private educational institutions. Under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, outstanding teachers and educators have been granted Golden Visas in celebration of their significant contributions to early childhood development, school education, and higher learning.
The initiative represents a tangible expression of Dubai’s leadership commitment to supporting and valuing those who dedicate their careers to educational excellence. By extending this prestigious residency benefit to inspiring educators, the emirate demonstrates its recognition of teachers as essential partners in building the intellectual and social foundations of future generations.
Since its establishment on 5 October 2024, the Golden Visa initiative has attracted applications from more than 835 educators, reflecting the initiative’s resonance across Dubai’s vibrant private education sector. The selection process employs rigorous and transparent professional assessment criteria, evaluating candidates on their academic qualifications, outstanding achievements within education, community contributions, and testimonials from parents and students.
Prospective applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievements or innovative creative contributions to education, a documented record of enhancing educational quality and outcomes, tangible positive impact recognised within the education community, and significant success in improving student achievement and attainment of accredited qualifications. Eligibility extends to educators employed at private early childhood centres, independent schools, and higher education institutions throughout the emirate.
The initiative strengthens Dubai’s Education 33 (E33) strategy, a forward-looking framework designed to attract and retain inspiring educators whose specialised expertise enriches student learning experiences and reinforces the emirate’s competitive standing regionally and internationally. By investing in human capital within the education sector, Dubai reinforces its commitment to nurturing talent and celebrating those whose work inspires and shapes future leaders.
