Sheikha Latifa Opens 30th Beautyworld Dubai as Fragrance Sector Reaches Record Heights

The milestone edition of the region's premier beauty exhibition showcases unprecedented growth in the fragrance industry, with leading global brands and emerging regional talent converging at Dubai World Trade Centre.
H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has inaugurated the 30th edition of Beautyworld Dubai, marking a significant milestone for the region’s foremost beauty industry platform. The three-day exhibition runs until 8 October at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Celebrating three decades of excellence, this year’s edition represents a transformative moment for the event, particularly within the fragrance sector. Exhibition space dedicated to perfumery has more than tripled since 2017, with a dedicated hall in Za’abeel now housing the industry’s largest presence in the event’s history. This expansion reflects the accelerating prominence of the Gulf region’s fragrance heritage and contemporary innovation within global markets.
The comprehensive showcase encompasses fragrance, cosmetics, skincare, haircare, personal care, packaging, beauty technology and wellbeing sectors. Notable international debuts include UK-based Lush Cosmetics, which has selected Beautyworld Dubai for the official unveiling of its new fragrance collection. Regional participants include Kuwait’s Gissah Perfumes and Saudi Arabia’s Al Majed for Oud, alongside established regional fragrance houses such as Lattafa Perfumes and Armaf.
During her inaugural tour, accompanied by key stakeholders including Hala Badri, Director-General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Sheikha Latifa visited leading exhibitors and the beautyLIVE platform. She also received briefings from Dubai Municipality experts on contemporary developments in health, safety and laboratory services.
The exhibition programme incorporates prestigious conferences including Next in Fragrance and Next in Beauty, alongside the returning Natural Notes conference, which facilitates direct engagement between natural ingredient producers and industry professionals. International beauty personalities including Patrick Ta, Mary Phillips, Mounir and Josh Lamonaca will conduct live demonstrations and masterclasses.
The Beautyworld Dubai Awards 2026, presented on 7 October, will honour excellence across seventeen categories. Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, will receive the Beautyworld Icon Award in recognition of her transformative influence upon the global beauty industry.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the exhibition reinforces Dubai’s established position as a nexus for international beauty industry professionals, facilitating product discovery, business development and international partnership formation.
